JOINS GLOBAL ELITE. RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION.
Global Technology Services (GTS),
the wholly owned IT subsidiary of Emirates National
Oil Company (ENOC) LLC, has joined an elite group
of less than three per cent of global software houses
by achieving Level 4 accreditation from an internationally
recognised quality assurance programme.It gained the
accreditation in the Software Engineering Institute
Capability Maturity Model (SEI CMM), a programme developed
by the Systems Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon
University in the US.The achievement comes a month
after GTS took the Oracle PartnerNetwork Award for
Outstanding Performance for the second year running.Hussain
Sultan, Group Chief Executive and Board Member, ENOC,
said:
“The achievement of CMM Level 4 certification
is a milestone which confirms our determination to
ensure the delivery of unmatched quality and excellence
to our customers.“GTS is one of the first companies
in the Middle East to achieve this, which clearly
positions it as a leader in the international IT market.“Having
joined the elite of international software houses,
GTS has now set its sights on achieving Level 5, the
highest CMM level, within the next 12 months.”
