Oando Group – Nigeria’s largest energy
group and a leading integrated energy solutions
provider recently signed up with Global Technology
Services (GTS) an ENOC subsidiary, to implement
the Oracle E-Business suite across the group companies.
This is a prestigious win for GTS and is a reflection
of its capability, experience in carrying out complex
implementations and leadership in the Oil &
Gas sector. This project will help integrate all
the critical functions of the organization, enabled
by a single system and improve business efficiency
through automation of several business processes
such as oil inventory management, product costing,
order management, distribution, customer service
and finance.
According to Mr. Abiola Lawal the Chief Strategy
officer of Oando who is also overseeing the project
“Oando’s commitment towards implementing
an ERP system is a significant step in developing
our infrastructure to meet world class standards.
This is critical in order to enable our strategy
of becoming a world class integrated energy company
powered by efficient processes and tools. The ERP
is an important execution tool which we are investing
in and we hope to leverage fully. It is about continuing
to innovate our processes to ensure we are delivering
value through our value chain”
Upon conclusion of this project, some of the values
to be realized would cut across several processes
which include, integration of Group’s financial
information, integration of customer order management,
enhancement of lubricant manufacturing processes,
better management of inventory and whole supply
chain process and standardization of HR & Payroll
information across the group
